It is with a mix of sadness and deep gratitude that we announce the closing of our beloved Always Tattoo Studio as of March 2025. We opened our doors in 2018 with the aim to provide a safe, inspiring, and welcoming space for all. Our journey has taken us from a cozy two-station nook overlooking Trinity Bellwoods to a big leap into the St Clair studio, and finally to our dream space at 87 Wade Ave.

For 7 years, we poured our hearts into growing and nourishing this space and community. We survived a global pandemic, renovated 2 spaces, hosted 3 annual makers markets, welcomed countless incredible guests, and worked along side a wonderful and talented team of resident artists. Among our team we’ve had ceramicists, muralists, animators, graphic designers, interior designers, and musicians. Together, we’ve grown in this space and built a community based on artistry, innovation, and connection.

As the economy shifts and the industry continues to evolve and reshape small businesses like ours, we’ve found ourselves at a crossroads. Our 3 year lease is coming to an end and after much reflection, we’ve decided it’s time to close this chapter.

Huge thank you to all of our past and present residents, guests, and clients. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your journey and thank you for being a part of ours. It’s been a pleasure to work alongside each and every one of you and seeing all of your beautiful art come to life.
